AgStack

AgStack

AgStack, a project of The Linux Foundation, is building the world’s largest and first open-source digital public infrastructure for global agriculture. With 46 communities/repositories and over 1,500 commits from a growing contributor base in the last two years, it provides a community-driven stack for geospatial identity and decentralized data pipelines. By establishing a common "operating system" through active projects like the Asset Registry and OpenAgri, AgStack breaks down data silos to accelerate digital transformation. This scalable software architecture ensures transparent, shared technology improves economic outcomes across the entire agricultural value chain for global users.

Through its Palefire framework, AgStack integrates LLMs with agricultural knowledge graphs, enabling AI-native insights and interoperable agentic systems.

In this talk, Sumer gives an overview of AgStack and how Palefire helps achieve its goals.
